The Chocolate Making Workshop
It may not be exactly the "Willy Wonka" experience, but this opportunity is your golden ticket to the world of artisan organic chocolate making, from bean to bonbon and bar. Learn about the process of cultivating, fermenting, and drying, peeling, toasting and grinding cacao seeds, as well as much you may not have known about the history of chocolate and its benefits to your health.
You will have a chance to learn the art of tempering and molding, and making your own chocolate treats, and of course, you'll get to sample the goodies and take home a bar you have made.
Tours can be arranged by your local hotel or privately. Minimum of two persons, and groups no larger than 5 persons per workshop. $55 per person.
Children over age 8 are welcome.
For larger groups, we can arrange a demonstration and tasting, that is not "hands-on".
How To Attend a Workshop
Booking your attendance to our chocolate making workshops is very easy. Please follow these guidelines and fill the reservation form to the right:
Workshops are open on Tuesdays and Saturdays by appointment only.
Start at 9:30 am and lasts 2 1/2 hours.
Two days' notice are required for workshop reservations.
Wear clothes you don't mind to stain with chocolate.
Once you have booked your attendance please expect a confirmation email within working hours. Please deposit the fee via PAYPAL to confirm your reservation.
Cancellation must be prior to 24 hours.
